We Made Sounds in the Box
"Onomatopoeia" and “Modal Particle" are secret languages that can only be understood by the language speakers, often appearing inadvertently in daily life. Artist Chloe Lin predominantly active as an pipa improviser in the music field. In this experiment, she firstly collected "onomatopoeic" and "modal particle" expressions from participants in their native languages. She then utilized the characteristics of these languages to rearrange, compose, and score them, ultimately integrating them into a song carried by balloons. Audiences are welcome to get close to the installation to hear these intimate murmurs.
